Job description

You are responsible for new client acquisition, client relationship management, and investment advisory, to clients in the Taiwan market. Over time, you will build, manage and lead an integrated team of Bankers responsible for acquiring and servicing clients by leveraging deep expertise across investments, banking, trust services and financial planning. This role is also accountable for the client experience and engaging our resources to deliver a complete wealth management solution to the clients.

Job Responsibilities

Support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team; develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional/personal networks and contacts Articulate and deliver strategic messages to client portfolio.

• Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks Overall responsibility to build, manage and lead a team of Bankers, where they operate in both banker and investor capacity
• Supervise, coach, and train bankers/staffs to maximize their individual contribution to the team as required
• Monitor ongoing and team’s performance against financial and other targets – AUM, Revenue, account performance etc.

In addition to day-to-day management of the team, this role should also grow the team’s book of business and will be responsible for prospecting and developing leads for new clients in the China market, through own social and/or corporate network and contacts

• Work in close partnership with other teams in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities
• Work closely with other teams in meeting compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills University degree holder and 10+ years of professional experience in a similar capacity

• Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of Taiwan UHNW clients (private individuals and families)
• Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
• Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance
• Strong presentation skills, an excellent communicator with client facing experience a definite advantage Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in demanding environment Detail-oriented and results-focused
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines Appropriate local regulatory qualifications and licenses
