Senior Software Engineer - MTY Primary Location: Garza Garcia Function: Product Engineering (CA) John Deere is a foremost leader in the ag equipment business, and we continue to put a solid stamp on other industries. Main Responsabilities

• Manage and oversee cloud compute, storage, and other services in multi-account AWS environment
• Manage GCP environment, including security and identity access management
• Administer GitHub Enterprise organizations
• Work with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure quality project delivery and provide ongoing support
• Resolve support requests
• Provide architectural design support following cloud best practices
• Write and maintain technical documentation

What Skills You Need

• 3-6+ years of experience administering AWS
• 3-6+ years of experience administering GCP
• Familiarity with enterprise networks, both on-premise and in cloud environments
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
• Expert knowledge of Terraform Infrastructure as Code frameworks
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system availability and performance issues
• Strong background in account and user identity management in AWS and GCP
• Experience managing GitHub Enterprise organizations
• Strong understanding of Linux
• Familiarity with Identity Providers, specifically Okta
• Strong understanding of cloud best practices
• Ability to work during US hours, with availability for off-hours and weekends on an as needed basis

• Demonstrable experience of team leadership

Education

• Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent + vast experience in the industry This position will be posted for a minimum of 10 business days and unposted when a qualified pool of candidates is achieved.
