Assist with testing activities, including test strategy, test case preparation, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and regression testing. Identify process gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for automation or efficiency improvements. Collaborate with project managers to track deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.

Support change management efforts, including training materials, user guides, and business readiness activities. Ensure solutions align with internal controls, regulatory expectations, and banking industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role within banking, financial services, or capital markets. Hands-on experience working with LoanIQ in a business analysis, operations, implementation, or technology delivery capacity. Strong understanding of the commercial loan lifecycle, including deal setup, funding, drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, interest and fee processing, amendments, and servicing.

Experience with syndicated loans, leveraged finance, agency lending, bilateral lending, or loan trading workflows. Ability to document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, data flows, process maps, and test scenarios. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting UAT, defect management, and production implementation. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including business users, operations, technology, QA, and project management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in an investment bank, corporate bank, commercial bank, or global financial institution. Experience with LoanIQ upgrades, migrations, integrations, or large-scale transformation programs. Knowledge of front-to-back loan processing across front office, middle office, back office, finance, and risk. Familiarity with loan accounting, general ledger postings, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Exposure to SQL, data analysis, APIs, system interfaces, or reporting tools. Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and control requirements relevant to lending products.
