Mobile Tire Technician

Job description

Under general supervision, this position is responsible to properly installing and inspecting tires on company tractors and trailers on customer sites and rail yards. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and inspect tires on tractors and trailers using Company guidelines
• Observe all Company safety requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Organize and maintain tire inventory for trucks
• Ensure compliance of safety policies including all safety and OSHA requirements while at a customer facility or rail yard Right after key responsibilities: Shift Schedule: Shifts may vary based upon location and business needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed Must possess a valid drivers license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 to 12 months in tire related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to make time-sensitive decisions The expected starting pay range for this position is between $21.62 - $24.89 .
