Complete orientation online! Are you a new CDL graduate looking for truck driver training? Drive with J.B. Hunt’s Apprenticeship Program and receive on-the-job training and experience with an industry leader. Drivers in this program work with an experienced J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks before transitioning to a full-time position upon successful completion.

OTHER PAY

Holiday: Eligible after one consecutive year of service $210/holiday for the 6 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day & 4th of July) Drivers must be active (not on leave, suspension, terminated) Drivers may be required to work holidays depending on freight volumes. Days surrounding holidays are FCFS.

PTO

Accrual starts on the first day of employment New/rehire – 1.5 hours accrued/week = 7 PTO days/yr 1+ years – 1.54 hours accrued/week = 10 PTO days/yr 6+ years – 2.31 hours accrued/week = 15 PTO days/yr 19+ years – 3.08 hours accrued/week = 20 PTO days/yr POSITION DETAILS: Uniforms required

Production requirement: 1900 MPW If this requirement is not met drivers will be transferred to the traditional regional JBI fleet Exceptional drivers can run as much as 2,400+ mpw w/ 48 hours off 100% NO TOUCH FREIGHT freight on Intermodal Chassis/Container 5% of freight is Reefer/TCI freight OPERATING AREA: WI/IL (90%), IA, MN, surrounding states (10%) 95% of loads start/end in

TRUCK/PARKING DETAILS

Drivers will operate mid roof conventional tractors. Avg age of the fleet is 2.5 yrs Automatic Transmission Freightliners. Drivers living within 30 miles of a JBH terminal will be required to park there for time off Truck Speed: Max speed of trucks is 62 MPH with peddle and 65 MPH on cruise.

Truck Assignment

New hires will be assigned a tractor their final week of training TRAINING INFO: Training will be 6 weeks During training, drivers will stay in a hotel Drivers on this regional job will operate in WI, IA, MN, and IL.
