Civil Design Technician Intern

Job description

We are looking for a Civil Design Technician Intern for BIAF for our Corvallis, OR, Office. This role is meant for anyone currently enrolled in school who is working towards a degree in Computer Aided Drafting or Engineering. This position is considered Hybrid and will require you to work in person at least two days per week. During your internship you will use Bentley and AutoDesk as well as a large number of other specialty software.

Each designer works on multiple projects at the same time, providing 2D and eventually 3D BIM design. You will learn new CAD tools on the job and gain valuable work experience. The office provides a very friendly, personable environment where we are flexible with our employees need to support our families and communities as desired. You will work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to civil site design, plan production, drafting standards, CAD workflows, project coordination and computer assisted engineering tools To be successful in this position, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication and strong time management skills.
