Ready to launch your engineering career while working on projects that help protect people and communities around the world? Join our team in Irvine, CA, and gain hands-on experience alongside licensed Fire Protection Engineers who are designing some of today's most innovative and complex buildings. As a Fire Protection Engineering Intern, you'll contribute to projects across a variety of industries, including commercial, federal, mission critical, and advanced facilities.
You'll have the opportunity to support work on projects throughout the United States and internationally, gaining exposure to the challenges and solutions that shape the built environment. Working side-by-side with experienced engineers, you'll help develop fire sprinkler systems, special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm and mass notification systems, and life safety and code analyses. We're looking for curious, motivated students who are excited to learn, ask questions, and make an impact. Previous design experience is helpful but not required. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-leading projects, you'll develop the knowledge and confidence to grow as an engineer. Successful candidates are strong communicators, collaborative team players, and thoughtful problem-solvers who enjoy tackling complex challenges.
