Water Engineering Intern – Summer 2027

Job description

This role is for an Engineering Intern located in the Cincinnati, OH office. As a summer intern you will assist other water resource engineers with various project tasks that may include hydraulic modeling, GIS mapping, engineering planning and design, contract document production and construction phase engineering support. You will be mentored by a group of professional engineers and technical experts in planning and designing infrastructure such as sanitary collection systems, storm sewer systems, water and wastewater pump stations, and treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants.

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Good communication (both written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills
• Experience with a PDF editor such as Bluebeam and computer aided drafting programs such as Revit and Microstation
