Position Title

Maintenance Electrician Pay Rate : $52.39 hr.

Sign-on Bonus

$500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years Physical Location : International Paper Ontario, CA 91761 Category/Shift : Hourly Full-Time All Shifts (1st shift 6am-2pm) (2nd shift 2pm - 10pm) (3rd shift 10pm-6am)

• 18 years of age
• Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience Eligible for employment in the US Must have one of the following: One (1) year experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, or OR One (1) year vocational/technical education in the Maintenance Disciplines: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, Must be willing to meet the following requirements: Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection) Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment
• Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
• Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
• Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
• Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis Wear required safety equipment It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s): Associates degree or certification(s) in any IP Core Maintenance Skills or related disciplines (Electrical, Instrumentation) Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.

Technical knowledge and experience with: Industrial safety procedures and equipment Troubleshooting and repair of: Instrument and control loop calibration Electrical control circuits Control valves PLC programming DCS programming Electrical power distribution and grounding Motor control circuits AC/DC motors Protective relaying and switchgear Reading and interpreting blueprints, tables, graphs, and diagrams Instrument Theory Control Theory Production-related computers and software Basic electronics Lighting repairs Installing conduit and wire The Job You Will Perform: This position will assist journeymen-level electricians and instrumentation technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.
