Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Strong experience with Progress OpenEdge Database .

Development experience in: Progress Character (Character Interface) Progress Client/Server Progress WebSpeed Experience working with Control-M scheduling and batch processes. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments . Experience using PuTTY and remote server administration tools. Experience developing and maintaining Shell Scripts .

Knowledge of file transfer mechanisms

SFTP FTP SCP Command-line file transfers Database query and troubleshooting experience. Experience supporting mission-critical business applications. Preferred Development experience with Java . Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations. Familiarity with Git or other version control tools. Experience in Banking or Financial Services environments. Understanding of ITIL processes and Production Support practices.

Required Experience

3+ years of experience in Progress/OpenEdge development and support. Experience supporting enterprise applications in Production environments. Experience working in Linux-based environments. Experience with batch scheduling and automation tools. Experience investigating and resolving application incidents. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively with distributed teams.

Customer-focused mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Proactive and self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and quality.

Work scheme

Hybrid (3 days in office Exportec) Possibility of working in CDMX (Torre HSBC), with at least one day of work in Toluca Green credit bureau This position requires hybrid work mode and needs your presence in the office for at least 60% of the workdays every week.
