PeopleSoft Finance Functional Principal Consultant

Job description

Infosys is seeking a PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in PeopleSoft Government Contracting, Project Billing, and Time and Labor modules. The selected candidate will be responsible for addressing user issues, resolving system-related problems, managing tickets and service requests, and performing necessary configuration updates. This role requires close collaboration with customer process consultants and subject matter experts (SMEs), conducting root cause analysis when necessary, and driving continuous process improvements.

The ideal candidate will serve as an effective liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of enhancements, the timely resolution of complex issues, and optimal system performance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. Location for this position is Anywhere in the USA . This position may require relocation and/or travel to client/project location. At least 11 years of Information Technology experience In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.

U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees. Demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft Government contracting, Project Billing, Time and Labor functional experience. Experience in PeopleSoft Project Costing (PC), Project Billing (BI), and Contracts (CA) Experience in Government Contracting requirements, including Cost accumulation and allocation, Billing plans (rate-based, fixed-price, T&M, and Progress Payments), Revenue recognition Experience in Time & Labor (T&L) including Time reporting, rules engine, payable time, Integration with Project Costing and Payroll Understanding of grants/government compliance requirements Experience in issue resolution, root cause identification and analysis, recommend solution to complex issues.

Good working knowledge of PeopleTools, SQL and other tools Experience gathering business requirements, proposing process improvements, stakeholder management, preparing Functional design and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and support processes Strong knowledge of business processes across finance domains Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience and desire to work closely with customers. Participate in the on-call rotation to support production systems, including monitoring jobs, interfaces, and integrations, and ensuring timely response to incidents and outages.
