Staff Engineer Reliability (Quality)

Job description

Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions Drive robust 8D investigations, containment activities, and deviation management to ensure effective Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA). Champion technical problem-solving efforts, providing expert guidance and mentorship to lab technicians during failure investigations. Coach teams on reliability failure investigations, ensuring a deep understanding of failure mechanisms and stress test behaviors in accordance with JEDEC and AEC-Q standards.

Manage the lab documentation system, providing critical administrative and technical support to lab and operational engineers. Collaborate with global RPT experts to align, standardize, and implement consistent testing methodologies and compliance standards(JEDEC, AEC-Q100 / Q006).

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

3 to 5 years of working experience in semiconductor reliability testing, quality engineering, or failure analysis lab environments.

Industry Standards

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with semiconductor and automotive standards, including JEDEC, AEC-Q100 /Q006, and IATF 16949 quality management systems.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in 8D methodology, RCCA tools (5Whys, Fishbone), and core Quality Management tools.
