Job description

IP Block Design

Define, design, and validate analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for radiation-hardened (RadHard) power management applications Layout Collaboration: Partner with physical design engineers to ensure optimal block layout and RadHard performance compliance Behavioral Modeling: Oversee and contribute to the behavioral modeling of analog/mixed-signal IP blocks across process corners Design Documentation: Document and review critical aspects of design architecture, implementation strategies, and testing methodologies IC Verification: Participate in top-level simulation-based verification of integrated circuits (ICs) within a structured design flow

Lab Support: Assist lab and test engineers in the validation and characterization of mixed-signal IP in a hardware environment Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design intent with system-level performance and reliability targets Education: Graduated Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics

Engineering, or a closely related field preferred Circuit Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles and semiconductor device fundamentals Semiconductor Knowledge: Ideally, some exposure to backend semiconductor processing or radiation-hardened design environments is preferred Design Tools: Hands-on experience with Cadence design tools (e.g., Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE) for schematic capture and simulation

Verification Skills: Familiarity with simulation-based verification methodologies for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a self-driven, collaborative, and team-oriented working approach Vocational Training: Relevant internship, co-op, or research experience of 1+ years with subject-specific exposure to analog IC design preferred US citizen or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
