Job description

At IDEXX, we help veterinary professionals make confident decisions by turning data into clarity. As our business continues to grow across Asia Pacific, we're looking for a commercially minded finance professional to partner closely with our China leadership team and help shape business performance through insights, planning, and strategic decision-making. Based within our Asia Pacific organization, this role offers the opportunity to influence one of our key growth markets while contributing to regional initiatives across the wider APO business.

What You Can Expect As the Senior Financial Analyst for China, you will serve as the primary finance business partner to our China commercial organization. You will work alongside sales, marketing, and business leaders to deliver actionable financial insights, drive planning and forecasting activities, and support strategic investments that impact the China P&L. You'll also play an important role in the Asia Pacific Oceania (APO) annual pricing process, partnering with regional teams to support pricing decisions through meaningful analysis and business insights.

What You'll Do

Partner with China commercial, sales, marketing, and sales operations leaders to provide financial guidance and decision support. Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring business assumptions are robust and aligned with regional objectives. Prepare and present monthly business reviews, including financial performance commentary, KPI reporting, and variance analysis for senior leadership. Build financial models that support commercial initiatives, product launches, market expansion activities, and investment decisions.

Identify risks and opportunities within the business and provide recommendations that support sustainable growth and performance. Evaluate commercial programs and investments by assessing business impact before and after implementation. Partner with sales operations to support program tracking, rebate management, compliance reporting, and financial governance. Support month-end close activities in partnership with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Contribute to the APO annual pricing process through pricing analysis, cross-market comparisons, and participation in country and regional pricing discussions. Support broader regional FP&A activities, including strategic planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Strong financial modeling capabilities and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across commercial and leadership teams. Experience working with ERP and financial planning systems. A proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

Why IDEXX? At IDEXX, you'll be part of a global organization driven by innovation, insights, and a commitment to improving the lives of pets and the people who care for them. We foster a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives are valued, development is encouraged, and your work has a direct impact on customers and business outcomes. Join us and help create greater clarity for veterinary professionals across China and the broader Asia Pacific region. #LI-CT1
