Your role and responsibilities

Currently, we are looking for an Oracle Cloud Project Manager to join our team. This role requires travel to client sites.

• Manage IBM rapid and complex Oracle Cloud and SaaS project engagements.
• Engage with IBM project team members and client stakeholders to ensure adherence to IBM’s project methodology.
• Prepare weekly project status reporting for project PMO, client steering committee and IBM Management.
• Manage project resources and project timeline to the established project budget, addressing all changes in scope according to the project change control process.
• Develop and manage project schedules.
• Assist with business development initiatives including presentations and proposals.
• Assist with internal operational objectives for project management methodology and practices. This job can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. Required technical and professional expertise

Project Management Experience

• Experience with managing project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables in Oracle Enterprise Applications or similar environments.

Oracle Applications Knowledge

• Experience in delivering Oracle Applications solutions, including understanding of project charter or contract requirements.

PM Methodologies Expertise

• Experience with project management methodologies, including their application in guiding project planning, execution, and monitoring.

Team Leadership Skills

• Experience in leading a project team, including managing IBM and client employees, as well as third-party vendors.

Budget and Resource Management

• Experience with managing project budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements to ensure successful project delivery. Preferred technical and professional experience

Strong Oracle Applications Knowledge

• Experience in delivering Oracle Applications solutions, including understanding of project charter or contract requirements, is beneficial for this role. This includes knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Applications and similar environments.

Advanced PM Methodologies

• Experience with project management methodologies, including their application in guiding project planning, execution, and monitoring, is preferred. This expertise enables effective project delivery and meeting contractual obligations.
