(IJDS) You will work on large-scale development projects for regional clients and nationwide IBM projects. Responsibilities may include requirements definition, design, development, testing, and operations across the full project lifecycle. We offer opportunities in a wide range of industries, including finance, insurance, manufacturing, and the public sector, with over 300 active projects covering open systems, mainframe, cloud, mobile, RPA, SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce technologies.

This is a location-specific position based in Sapporo, Sendai, Okinawa, Kitakyushu, Hiroshima, Takamatsu, Nagano, Makuhari, or Niigata.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Business-level Japanese communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and project stakeholders
• Hands-on experience in the design and development of web applications and enterprise systems using Java and related technologies
• Proven experience leading project teams and driving successful project delivery as a Team Lead or Technical Lead

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience in server-side development using frameworks such as Java and Spring
• Experience in front-end design and development using technologies such as Angular and React
• Experience in cloud-native application development, architecture, and operations, including DevOps and CI/CD practices
