JOB TITLE [Finance} General Accounting Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Review all financial transactions for accuracy and ensure that accounting records are up to date.

• Prepare month-end journal entries and monthly close deliverables
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
• Analyze purchases for proper general ledger coding
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliation and fluxes
• Assist in preparation of the monthly variance analysis for management review
• Prepare audit support
• Review financial statements and recommend adjustments to improve accuracy of reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

TO THE ROLE Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or on track for CPA is a plus

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting requirements
• Conduct analysis and documentation of new processes and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial matters to non-finance professionals. Experience with SAP systems is a plus Highly detail oriented and business process improvement skills Systems and software, including ERP systems, treasury management systems, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
