Job description

To ensure all trade validations and settlements are processed prior to the respective settlement dates across all asset classes. To provide high quality support services to MSS Bermuda as well as external customers. To validate and settle transactions across all asset classes. To ensure zero PLA breaches & operational loss To regularly review procedures and controls for existing products to ensure group standards are maintained.

Continuous process improvements. To ensure all transactions are settled prior to designate currency cut off and in accordance with the Payment Transparency guidelines (PT). Identify problem situations and proactively resolved and escalated to give maximum customer satisfaction. Appropriate measures are taken to improve quality and prevent recurrence. To ensure compliance with all current audit recommendations and FIM requirements by carrying out periodic operational reviews and ensuring that no lapses have occurred.

Obtain knowledge of new products and developments in existing products as they are documentation intensive and it is critical that the jobholder reviews the terms & conditions carefully to ensure that the products are appropriately captured and processed correctly. Computer literacy, intermediate knowledge of MS Excel a must. Must have strong overall knowledge of US Domestic fixed income settlement operations process Proven experience in a related role Settlements operations expertise is nice to have FX and money market knowledge is nice to have
