Job description

The Lead Software Architect will be responsible for ensuring the design and development of software architecture aligns with business objectives and scalability. You will partner cross-functionally to define system requirements and design solutions that integrate seamlessly into complex engineering systems. You will be responsible for driving innovation through prototyping and evaluating new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance development processes

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain high-level architecture for enterprise applications and platforms.
• Establish design principles, patterns, and standards for software development.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud migration and microservices adoption.
• Partner with product owners, engineering managers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Promote innovation through research and proof-of-concepts.
• Optimize system performance and reliability through proactive design improvements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in an architecture leadership role.
• Proven expertise in designing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, Java, Node.js).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes). . AI development and integration experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and projects.
