Procurement Buyer II

Job description

As a Procurement Buyer II here at Honeywell, you will play an essential role in managing procurement activities to support our operational needs efficiently and cost-effectively. You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and you’ll work out of our Juarez, Mexico location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the supply chain by ensuring timely purchasing of materials and services, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives that support Honeywell’s business objectives.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement processes including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure cost-effective purchasing aligned with organizational policies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver timely sourcing solutions. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain a reliable supply chain.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Experience in procurement or purchasing roles with a strong understanding of supplier relations and cost control. Proficiency in procurement software and tools relevant to the role. Strong negotiation and contract management skills specific to procurement activities. Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance requirements.
