This role is designed to provide hands-on support across federal, state, and international government relations priorities, including fact sheets, stakeholder mapping, internal communications, event preparation, onboarding resources, and issue-tracking workstreams.

Responsibilities

Support development, review, and maintenance of government relations fact sheets, one-pagers, and related advocacy materials, including coordination with business contacts, HR, communications, and Government Relations team members to gather and validate data. Assist with U.S. state and country-specific reporting by organizing data, tracking needed edits, coordinating updates with internal partners, and ensuring final materials are routed to the appropriate folders or reviewers.

Maintain project trackers, stakeholder maps, and internal reference tools to support Government Relations engagement planning and execution. Support planning and execution of Government Relations events and external engagements, including invite tracking, attendance tracking, briefing materials, thank-you notes, and follow-up communications. Assist with HONPAC (political action committee) recruiting, events, compliance and administration.

Prepare and coordinate briefing materials, shell memos, outreach drafts, and follow-up correspondence for senior leader engagements, policymaker meetings, and external stakeholder interactions. Assist with legislative and regulatory issue tracking by preparing side-by-side comparisons, summarizing bill language, coordinating feedback, and supporting policy recommendation development under Government Relations leadership direction.

Support internal Government Relations communications, including drafting newsletter content, coordinating approvals, working with branding or distribution-list owners, and helping publish updates for the team. Help improve Government Relations team processes by organizing SharePoint content, supporting onboarding resources, maintaining SOP/checklist materials, and coordinating with internal partners on process updates.

Coordinate across functions and team members, including Government Relations, HR, communications, legal, business unit contacts, consultants, and external affairs partners, to move projects forward and ensure materials are accurate and actionable.
