N/A Requirements Support Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core software agents that run on customer endpoints. This role would be focus on both investigation, bugfixing, triaging and feature working on the backend. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Python for application logic, strong command of networking protocols and ability to follow up best practicces to release software directly to production.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in backend or systems software development, focusing on agent/client-side applications. Expert proficiency in Python (including concurrency and low-level system calls). Production Support experience, this is strong debugging of user issues and analysis of automated production alerts as related to server logs and the development code related to the requests. Experience writing python-specific features (decorators, context managers, multi-threading, etc).

Experience with readability and design, rather than employing frameworks that happen to be in python.

Nice to have

In-depth knowledge of API integrations and Logs Investigation. Proficiency with Git and agile development methodologies.

Job Responsibilities

Agent Development & Systems Programming Design, develop, and test high-performance, backend integrations using Python. Ensure the software is stable, reliable, and secure. Develop robust mechanisms for persistence, self-healing, and minimal resource utilization on the endpoint. Strong Unit Testing processBackend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core software features that run on customer endpoints. Operational Excellence Integrate the software with the central cloud backend (APIs, message queues) and ensure data is transferred reliably and securely.

Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee high code quality and testability. Utilize and manage version control with Git (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) and participate in rigorous code reviews. Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams on agent deployment, monitoring.
