As a Human Resources Manager , you’re not just overseeing daily operations of the hotel’s HR function – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Ideal candidate will possess the following

Previous union labor management experience such as investigations and managing grievances responses is required. Must have experience with labor relations. Previous experience with leaves, benefits, and recruitment is ideal. General working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel is highly desired. Must have a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day

Oversee daily HR operations: Manage key HR functions, including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, ensuring compliance with corporate HR policies and federal/local regulations Foster team member engagement: Lead employee relations initiatives such as recognition programs, special events, and engagement activities to create a positive workplace culture Manage HR systems and compliance: Oversee team member data management, track employment transitions, generate reports, and process unemployment claims Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
