Responsibilities

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be the welcoming face of F&B, delivering a helpful, thoughtful and engaging experiences for every guest. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing our F&B operations and ensuring exceptional service delivery, with your north star being the creation of memorable guest experiences. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, you will lead and support your team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and brand excellence.

This role will primarily focus on the breakfast team, encompassing responsibilities across the Restaurant, In-Room Dining, and Events. Operating on a rotating roster, you will thrive as part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

Specifically, this role will involve

Operational Oversight: Support daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and adherence to brand standards.

Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and motivate Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high performance.

Guest Experience Management

Ensure personalised service, handle guest feedback, and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.

Inventory & Cost Control

Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and control costs to optimize profitability.

Sales & Revenue Support

Drive upselling initiatives, monitor sales performance, and support revenue targets.

Compliance & Hygiene

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations across the Restaurant Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments for seamless service delivery.

Food Safety Regulations

Ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Experience in a Food and Beverage Supervisory role, or strong experience in an F&B service role. Excellent communication, grooming, and interpersonal skills Fluent in English, with the ability to engage professionally with guests and team members, both face-to-face and over email. Have a genuine passion for Hospitality and motivated to grow their career within F&B Strong skills in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges efficiently, even during busy moments.

Well-presented, organised, and calm, with a positive attitude and a knack for staying composed in dynamic situations. Ability to work around a 7 day week roster including weekends and public holidays Current RSA
