Overview

Group 1 Buick GMC North is growing and looking to add Automotive Service Technicians of all skill levels—from entry-level to experienced Flat-Rate/Flag Technicians—to join our high-performing Buick GMC dealership! Our technicians are passionate about delivering quality work, take pride in what they do, and enjoy being part of a team that values collaboration, performance, and employee success. As the highest-volume GMC dealership in Texas , our service department is fast-paced and thriving, with over 40 technicians and 100+ repair orders daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.

Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors Qualifications 1+ year of dealership experience or formal automotive training/education required ASE or Manufacture Certifications are a plus! Diagnostic and mechanical skills Tool proficiency High school diploma or equivalent
