Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Must have full lifecycle experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Department of Defense Secret security clearance obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES

As a systems engineer for Nuclear Weapons Security program, youll work with a cross functional team responsible for electronic security system design, development, installation, and maintenance for use with U.S. Navy strategic weapons program. Proficiency in advanced systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools including model-based systems engineering (MBSE), risk management, and systems integration. Contributing to the strategic direction of projects and organizations involving innovative thinking to solve complex problems, improve processes, and develop new system concepts.
