MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the engineering, implementation, integration, and sustainment of the Delinea Tools Suite in a Linux environment.

This role ensures secure credential management, privileged access controls, secrets management, and automation capabilities that align with mission security and compliance requirements. The Software Engineer shall serve as the SME for all Delinea technologies running on Linux systems and shall collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.

The Software Engineer Principal must have: Education: Bachelor of Science Experience: 8+ years of related experience Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Position Required Skills

Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Suite of Tools Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python Recent software development experience using Python and Java Strong background in Linux administration such as RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu Hands-on experience implementing or supporting at least one Delinea product (e.g., Secret Server, Privilege Manager, DevOps Secrets Vault) Experience integrating Delinea with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, FreeIPA).

Understanding of identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), certificate-based authentication, and security best practices Experience troubleshooting system-level issues in distributed environments, including logs, services, networking, and authentication Familiarity with API-based integrations, RESTful services, and secrets automation in CI/CD pipelines Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStack Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and associated secret-handling patterns Experience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution

Position Desired Skills

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
