Responsibilities for this Position Inside Machinist - Assembly - Skilled US-CT-Groton Job ID: 2026-18595 Type: Full-Time # of Openings: 10 Category: Building Trades EB Groton Shipyard Overview Assembly of valves, gearboxes, operators, trunks, and other mechanical components. Disassembly and troubleshooting of same. Perform fitting, scraping, grinding, and honing. Install and torque fasteners. Precision measurement of parts.

Completion of hardcopy and electronic documentation. Perform hydrostatic and air testing of components. Use hand tools, portable power tools, and hydraulic torqueing equipment.
