Benefits include: Paid training Medical, Dental, & Vision 401K plan with up to 6% employer match Paid vacations and holidays Growth opportunities Shift Premium Health and Wellness Programs Commuter Van Service/RIPTA Tuition Reimbursement Programs Safety Boot Reimbursement Program Duties include, but are not limited to: Fitting Hull butts, critical inserts and penetrations Layout, fabrication, assembly and installation of foundations, structures, bulkheads, frames, components and deck packages Developing a working knowledge of structural weld joint fit-up/weld symbols, burning and grinding operations Interpreting construction drawings/blueprints Aligning parts in relation to each other using jacks, clips and wedges through use of blueprints and templates Tack-welding structural parts as required Utilizing hands and power tools in the steel fabrication trade

• Ability to read and interpret written policies, procedures and guidelines as work assignments will be accomplished using company drawings, test documents, technical manuals, and shipyard procedures
• Work conditions may include entry in restricted/confined spaces This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.

• Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment and meet organizational goals Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalentOR a minimum of 2 years related technical experience Shipfitting, metal fabrication, and/or other trades with relevant experience or formal training Available to work all shifts
• Ability to work at heights, confined spaces and extreme temperature conditions as required
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, shipyard procedures, test documents, blueprints, diagrams, and perform basic layout functions Basic mathematical skills Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools Preferred: Steel fabrication experience Experience working in the construction industry or a manufacturing environment Vocational, Technical and Community Colleges or Apprentice programs Military/Navy experience PI288119693
