Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of business principles. Administrative Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in Finance, Business Administration or Mathematics. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Business Development Analytics & Operations Intern to join our team.

The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to develop strategic plans in support of the growth of the GDMS organization and its clients. The Business Development Analytics & Operations Intern will support a group of Strategy and Business Development professionals performing activities such as, but not limited to: running reports, collaborate on various proposal development projects, financial modeling, support research and case study efforts.

Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our growth efforts.

• Familiarity with AI development tools such as Codex/ChatGPT, programming languages such as Python, and Development platforms like Gitlab
• Familiarity with Database structures & operations
• Familiarity with Data Visualization tools & techniques
• Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the GDMS culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures.

Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure GDMS services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices. Performs analytical and research activities in support of the business development and acquisition, strategic planning, proposal development and marketing functions. Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).

Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $22.00 - USD $29.25 /Hr.
