Overview

Join Gallagher Re in Stamford as a Senior Reinsurance Broker. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team to support our growing list of clients. This role is based in-office 4-5 days a week, giving you the chance to collaborate directly with colleagues and clients. Gallagher Re is expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in reinsurance or consulting to help us deliver innovative solutions and exceptional service.

How you'll make an impact In this role, you’ll partner with actuaries and catastrophe modelers to analyze insurance risks and design reinsurance treaty structures. You’ll prepare and market reinsurance placements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely. You’ll also coordinate with internal teams to provide tailored solutions for clients and present your work to senior managers.

Here’s what else you’ll do

Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners. Contribute to industry research and share insights through publications and conferences. Join a product vertical or segment, helping shape our global strategy.

About You

A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, reinsurance, or consulting. Confidence in giving presentations and building relationships. A team-oriented mindset and problem-solving skills. Willingness to pursue an ARe designation (if you don’t already have it). Knowledge of client services, contracts, and industry practices.
