Position Summary

Reporting to the AVP/ VP of Procurement, the Manager is to support the Marketing and Entertainment category teams to provide procurement services including but not limited to process purchase requests according to company procurement policies and processes. The incumbent shall apply analytical skills and show attention to detail in order to qualify quotations from supplier before Bid Analysis Review (BAR) preparation.

The incumbent shall also have the ability to identify irregularities in the BAR. The Manager will expect to lead complex Marketing and Entertainment project and to support other team members. The incumbent will be expected to develop and lead the team during the absence of the AVP/VP of Procurement. Primary Responsibility

• Handle daily source by conducting RFQs and complex tendering
• Issue orders and follow up on goods deliveries and/or service delivery standard and quality
• Liaise with BU to confirm details on requirement prior to execution of bidding process
• Conduct bidding process according to Procurement Policy and SOP
• Review bid price submissions and identify potential irregularities
• Verify price from suppliers where irregularities are identified
• Conduct bid analysis
• Prepare system documents to suppor the sourcing
• Handle complex sourcing or major project management
• Expect to develop and lead other team members
• Experience in managing Marketing and Entertainment contracts

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, Professional qualification preferred
• Minimum 10 years experience in hotel industries with at least 3 years in management position in procurement related functions. Marketing & Entertainment experiences preferred but not compulsory
• Proven record in performing

• Excellent in communication and negotiation skill
• Must be able to adapt changes well, able to work well under pressure and able to meet rapid urgent project timeline
• Work experience with Procurement ERP system will be an advantage
• Good Command in written and spoken English and Chinese
