Production Planner

JOB OVERVIEW

The Production Planner is responsible for the daily planning, follow- up and optimization of the demand require d to support the production deliverables.

Main responsibilities will include: Coordination and optimization of production workflow for one or multiple production areas

• Analyze production factors such as capacity, cycletimeand urgencies to ensure production plan achievement Determiningmanpowerand equipment to cover production demand Developing standardized, custom reports as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Support the team in capacity modelling and production analysis.

Supportadditionalad hoc projects, initiatives, and business needs as they arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-year experience or equivalent Organized, results-driven with great problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and computer skills arevery usefulfor the role Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office and ERP systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to forge ties and build relations between colleagues Rigor and attention to detail

Advancedproficiencywith MS Office Suite

• Must be bilingual (French and English) (written,readand spoken).

Job Demands

Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance . Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
