About the Department The Communication Services team delivers secure, reliable communication infrastructure across Franklin Templeton’s global enterprise. Network engineers, infrastructure specialists, operations teams, and application partners work together to support business-critical connectivity and communication services worldwide. The team drives automation, network modernization, and operational excellence while providing opportunities to work with advanced technologies, lead transformation initiatives, and expand technical expertise.

Core Responsibilities

You will manage enterprise voice and data networks globally. You will deploy and support network solutions. You will perform testing, release planning, and user enablement. You will support 24x7 network operations. You will resolve complex operational incidents. You will implement network security strategies. You will maintain operational network stability.

Strategic Responsibilities

You will develop automation for resiliency and efficiency. You will ensure regulatory and technical compliance. You will lead resolution of major network incidents. You will create long-term solutions to recurring issues. You will manage network enhancement projects. You will improve engineering practices and tools. You will drive operational excellence initiatives.

Team & Collaboration

You will document processes and operational procedures. You will mentor and train junior engineers. You will collaborate across infrastructure and development teams. You will identify automation opportunities. You will support change and configuration management. You will participate in on-call support. You will contribute to global engineering initiatives. Experience

Experience managing enterprise network environments. Experience with WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN technologies. Experience supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Experience with enterprise security platforms. Experience automating network operations. Experience troubleshooting large-scale environments. Experience supporting 24x7 operations.

Technical Skills

Catalyst SD-WAN expertise. OSPF and BGP routing protocols. Palo Alto, Cisco, or Fortinet technologies. Linux and Windows platforms. Cloud networking and infrastructure. SIP trunking and voice technologies. Network automation and lifecycle management tools.

Soft Skills
