Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site. Reporting to the Senior Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like

• Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD Assist in writing working instructions, check list and other documents related to manufacturing equipment
• Help research and recommend support equipment required for continuous production
• Help design and monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projects
• Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Student qualities we’re seeking for this Co-Op assignment: Current BS/MS student pursuing Mechanical Engineering major 2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks) experience Lean/Six Sigma helpful Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills Previous co-op/internship experience a plus!

Co-Op Program Requirements

Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the Spring 2027 co-op assignment Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university 3.0 minimum GPA Application Deadline: Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
