Account Manager II

Job description

As a member of a sales team, the sales professional is responsible for maintaining and deepening customer relationships. Provides face-to-face customer contact in an assigned market-based geographic territory (major and metro markets) to achieve personal and company sales goals for small to mid-sized customers.

Essential Functions

Maintains existing business by developing an understanding of the customer’s business and supply chain through research and customer interaction, analyzing customer needs and developing and implementing solutions. Coordinates and collaborates with internal teams, such as sales counterparts and operations as well as other internal partners to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience Mid-level negotiation skills needed to offer fair, competitive market-based pricing within parameters set by FedEx.

Will occasionally need to negotiate strategic pricing for select customers. Leverages new and existing technology tools such as internal systems, mobile devices, and PowerPoint. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent (Equivalency reflected under minimum experience) Minimum Experience (in lieu of bachelor’s degree) Four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience OR two (2) years of the Company's business-to-business sales experience required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent Communication Skills, Product Knowledge, Solution Building, Time Management, Organization, Self-Motivation, Adaptability, Problem Solving, Business Acumen, History of Relationship Building & Maintaining Strong Client Relationships, Data Analysis & Predictive Analytics for Retention, Experience Leveraging Technology, Drive to Monitor Account Health & Mitigate Risks, & Ensuring Customer Satisfaction and Data Visualization for Success Metrics Job Conditions Moderate overnight travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

Relationship Building, Maintaining Client Relationships and Ensuring Customer Satisfaction Skills; Data Analysis & Predictive Analytics for Retention; Ability to Leverage Technology for Data Visualization; Drive to Monitor Account Health & Mitigate Risks. Excellent Communication, Adaptability, Time Management, Self-Motivation, Problem Solving, Solution Building and Organization skills are a plus. Moderate overnight travel required.

Pay Transparency

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.

An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay

S2016 FEC_ SP3 $4,571.88 - $8,391.66 monthly Additional Details: Purple Flex Hybrid – This position will be hybrid in Kernersville, NC.
