Analytics Intern (Summer 2027) - Memphis, TN

Job description

As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.

Essential Functions

Under close supervision, the successful candidate may assist with the following: project management, project planning, process mapping, data analysis, workflow documentation, learning design and development, engineering support (testing and design), and report automation Assist with technology industry research, global business intelligence, and emerging trends analysis. Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Degree

Engineering, Analytics, Business, or related analytical discipline.

Minimum Experience

No experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as a part of a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of SQL, advanced Microsoft Excel, VBA macros, programming or scripting for automation, and coursework in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Programming. Assist in maintaining, upgrading, and developing departmental analytical tools. Gain hands-on experience using SQL, VBA macros, and advanced Excel functions to automate reporting, streamline processes, and support data-driven decisions.

Pay Transparency

Undergraduate interns receive $25/hour, and graduate interns receive $30/hour. A $2,000 relocation stipend is available for eligible interns relocating more than 50 miles for an onsite or hybrid internship. This position is hybrid in Memphis, TN, at the FedEx office on Hacks Cross Road. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and will be required to work onsite Monday–Thursday, with Friday designated as a hybrid workday.

Pay

$25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on education level.

Undergraduate

$25/hour.

Graduate

$30/hour. Eligible interns relocating more than 50 miles may receive a $2,000 relocation stipend.
