Student, Intern Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Louisiana, LLC JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION Operate and maintain systems associated with a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility and Simple Cycle facility while demonstrating safety awareness and direction that will continuously improve performance by employees and contractors through the use and strict adherence to procedures and processes. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Working in a team environment to assist in day-to-day activities, including but not limited to: Maintain regulatory compliance and be proactive in dealing with all agencies and avoid reportable violations.

Participation in the multi-year Production Technician multi skill progression plan to develop key skills in maintenance and operations. Conduct and participate in job briefings and safety meetings. Applies understanding and knowledge of plant systems, burner controls (where applicable), turbine controls, data acquisition, process controls, regulating devices, personal computers, troubleshooting, etc. Operational duties include, but not limited to making operational rounds, performing PM/PDM activities, HRSG/Boiler water chemistry, CEMS monitoring and calibrations.

Perform mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical maintenance as needed

Minimum Education

Requirements Candidates must be actively enrolled and pursuing a degree with a focus on Instrumentation, Electrical, and/or Process Technology. Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student in a technical, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree program (full-time or part-time), pursuing a degree in the relevant field outlined above. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8, verified through an official transcript from the previous semester.
