Job Summary

EMCOR Services Combustioneer. is seeking an experienced pipefitter in Lanham, MD . Exp w/layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance & repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps & equip. in industry environment. This position is covered by the CBA - Local 602. #combust

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms Assist pipe fitter with installation of the piping system to include boilers, chillers, air-handler units, cooling towers etc. Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Qualifications

At least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction setting

• Must have valid Driver's License
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Must be able to utilize electronic devices for daily communication

Physical Demands

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
