Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor. In the role you be managing the day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop, while ensuring all safety requirements are maintained. #shambaugh #ppf #LI-TS #LI-Onsite

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to scheduling requirements Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Maintain a trusting relationship with work group, manage and develop shift staff Commit to plant safety procedures Address employees’ issues and work with Shop Manager to address Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor, managing production employees Adequate knowledge of business and management principles
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise Be knowledgeable of safety and quality
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills Able to adapt to constant changing schedule
