What you’ll do

Candidates will be:

• Undergraduates working towards a minimum of a 2:1 in a related discipline (mandatory, below this you won`t be considered)
• Based at our Luton plant in Bedfordshire.
• Ready to start in July 2027
• Have legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom without company sponsorship and where appropriate comply with ITAR regulations (we do not sponsor any type of visa for this internship)" "

• enhance your skills through on-the-job training and external workshops Day to Day Duties:
• Working within the Quality Team to understand how the QMS (Quality Management System) for controlled documents is used, maintained and most importantly controlled.
• Learning to conduct process audits of key electronic manufacturing areas ensuring all standards are being met and followed.
• Using Quality tools and standards to deliver assurance at top tier standard electronics manufacturing plant.
• Carrying out under guidance Quality investigations, their root causes, resolve, prevention and assurance to the customer.
• Collecting metrics relating to Quality and the department, understanding how they are analysed and how they are used to monitor the performance of the products we build and our department.
• Shadowing our Quality Test Technicians- Understanding how Electronics hardware testing is done and fault finding down to component level is undertaken.
• Writing up quality reports using tools and methodology learnt during the training. "
