We are looking for a Sea Freight Operator to join our team in Thessalonki and play a key role in the smooth and efficient execution of our customers’ sea freight shipments.

Your responsibilities will include: Managing the day-to-day operational activities of sea freight shipments. Coordinating bookings and monitoring shipments from origin to destination. Maintaining regular communication with customers, providing updates on shipment status and proactively managing any delays or issues. Liaising with DSV overseas offices and international teams to ensure smooth shipment coordination. Coordinating with shipping lines, carriers and other relevant partners.

Arranging collections and deliveries in cooperation with customers and carriers. Preparing and handling import/export documentation accurately and within deadlines. Identifying operational challenges and proactively seeking solutions. Developing a strong understanding of the overall department process flow and continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience. Working towards agreed KPIs and operational targets, supporting the goals of the team, branch, product and company What We’re Looking For: At least 3 years of proven experience in Sea Freight Operations and Documentation.

Good knowledge of sea freight processes, import/export procedures and shipping documentation. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Very good command of Business English, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of MS Office. Customer-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail. A proactive approach, with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.
