Job Description

Procure and manage insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage for our company's shipments and operations.

Risk Assessment

Conduct risk assessments for each shipment and provide recommendations for appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies.

Claim Processing

Handle the end-to-end claims process, including claim documentation, submission, negotiation with insurance providers, and settlement.

Documentation

Maintain accurate and organized records of insurance policies, claims, and related documentation.

Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and insurance providers regarding insurance matters and claims.

Continuous Improvement

Evaluate and enhance insurance policies, claim processes, and risk management strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Customer Service

Provide timely and professional assistance to clients regarding insurance-related inquiries and claims issues.

Dispute Resolution

Address any disputes or discrepancies related to insurance claims in a fair and equitable manner, seeking resolution to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Insurance or Statistics,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance / Reinsurance and/or Insurance Brokerage,
• Ability to communicate with global teams
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficiency in global insurance platforms such as CIRA
• Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing).
