Bangalore Roles & Responsibilities: undefined Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for firmware/software validation. Perform functional, system, regression testing on embedded platforms. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for firmware validation. Ensure end-to-end validation including hardware-software integration. Analyze logs, issue/bug and work closely with developers to resolve defects.

Create and maintain test reports, documentation, and traceability matrices. Continuously improve test processes, automation coverage, and quality metrics. Participate in verification and validation activities.

Must have skills

Primary skills : Strong experience in firmware/embedded testing and validation. Mandatory expertise in test automation (Python preferred, C# is a plus, FITNESSE). Experience in developing automation frameworks Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer), Reading Schematics. Experience with communication protocols (communication stacks) (Ethernet and others) Familiarity with test management tools (e.g.

JIRA, qTest) Experience in log analysis and debugging issues.

Secondary skills

Experience and hands-on with continuous integration (CI/CD) tools (JENKINS, GitLab, CI). Exposure to hardware testing setups. Understanding coding standards and compliance. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC/STLC.
