Permanent (Full-Time) Launch something new with DHL. We're seeking a proactive Transport First Line Manager to help build and lead a brand-new operation in Wednesbury.

• Ensure transport activities are completed safely, legally and in line with SLA, KPI and compliance requirements
• Manage day-to-day transport operations, resolving issues quickly and effectively
• Act as the first point of contact for driver and colleague queries, supporting absence, performance, investigations and wellbeing
• Drive colleague engagement through EOS action plans, regular communication and driver forums
• Maintain compliance across all transport systems (Microlise and Tachomaster), processes, Health & Safety and OMS standards
• Deliver team member performance reviews (1-2-1's), development and/or succession planning, providing coaching as appropriate
• Work closely with the wider management team to deliver operational excellence and a strong "one team" culture ✅ WHAT YOU'LL BRING Previous
• Transport management experience at First Line Manager, Team Leader, Supervisor level, is essential Previous
• Transport planning experience would be desirable CPC holder would be desirable, but not essential
• Strong understanding of driving rules and regulations
• Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written Exposure to Tachomaster and Microlise systems
• Proven interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills Able to challenge in the right way and influence decisions ✅ WHY JOIN US?
