We are building an internal team of Forward Deployed Engineers to design, implement, and scale these AI solutions across our operations, working on use cases where AI has real operational consequences. We are looking for a versatile and highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to join this team.

In this role, you will combine strong technical abilities with excellent communication skills, working directly with DHL business units and operations teams to ensure they maximize the value of our AI agent platform. You will be involved in use case scoping, implementation, and ongoing optimization, while also contributing to the evolution of how AI is deployed across the organization. #DHL #DHLITServices #GreatPlace #AIAgent What You´ll Do Embedded Engineering

• Work closely with DHL teams from use case scoping through to live deployment, helping them integrate and optimize AI solutions within their operations.

Technical Development

• Build new features, MVPs, and scalable solutions that directly impact operational outcomes.

Full-Stack Development

• Utilize React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python to develop robust applications and tools.

AI/ML Applications

• Design, implement, and iterate on AI/ML solutions, including LLM prompting and tuning of voices and transcribers to optimize use cases.

Integration & APIs

• Manage APIs and integrations with internal DHL systems and third-party tools to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with business, IT, and operations stakeholders across regions and divisions to deliver tailored solutions.

Iterative Problem-Solving

• Continuously iterate and improve AI solutions based on feedback from operational teams and evolving business requirements.

Project Management

• Prioritize and manage multiple deployments under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality results. Ready to embark on the journey?

Here’s what we are looking for

Strong full-stack experience: React, TypeScript, Node.js. Hands-on proficiency in Python. Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and tuning. Ability to manage APIs and integrate with third-party and enterprise systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
