Key Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert for HSE matters, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Advise management, site leaders, and contractors on HSE compliance requirements and best practices in line with applicable regulations. Develop and oversee safety and utilities maintenance programs to support operational excellence and achieve HSE objectives. Oversee fire safety, emergency preparedness, contractor safety compliance, and facility-related HSE requirements.

Deliver HSE training programs, including safety inductions, toolbox talks, and MHE operator training, while promoting safety awareness through various communication channels. Conduct monthly HSE inspections with departmental HSE Committee representatives and prepare inspection reports for review and discussion during HSE Committee meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or a related discipline. Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) certification is preferred. Minimum 7 years of HSE experience, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, 3PL, or 4PL industry and is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and compliance requirements. Familiar with risk assessment methodologies, HIRARC, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes.

Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operations and facility maintenance.
