Working 4 on, 4 off, 6am-6pm Location: East Midlands Gateway - Derby We are looking for a Transport First Line Manager to join our busy transport operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive leader who can inspire their team, drive performance, and ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of transport services.

Working within a fast-paced logistics environment, you will be responsible for managing daily transport operations, leading a team of drivers and transport colleagues, and ensuring service levels are consistently achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. ✅ WHAT YOU'LL DO Managing the day-to-day transport operation to deliver excellent customer service and operational performance

Leading, coaching and developing a team of drivers and transport colleagues to achieve their full potential Monitoring fleet utilisation, route performance, and driver compliance Ensuring all transport activities are carried out safely and in line with company policies and legal requirements Conducting driver briefings, debriefs, investigations, and performance reviews Managing resource planning, absence management, and employee engagement activities

Promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence Maintaining accurate transport records and ensuring compliance with driver hours, Working Time Directive, and vehicle legislation ✅ WHAT YOU'LL BRING Previous experience within a transport, logistics, or distribution environment

• Proven leadership experience managing operational teams
• Strong knowledge of transport operations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
