Tasks What you’ll do
- Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Design data architectures, models and integration patterns
- Support architectural decisions and guide the development team Analyze and improve migration from Teradata to Databricks
- Design, develop and enhance intergrations and data pipelines with the DWH Product Owner
- Work with stakeholders to define, validate and prototype solutions
- Ensure quality, performance, scalability, maintainability
- Prepare documentation, effort estimates and recommendations
- Improve standards, best practices and share knowledge within the team Requirements What you’ll bring: 5+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture/Data Warehousing Strong SQL & procedural DB languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL) Experience designing scalable data solutions/architectures Hands-on with Databricks, modern data platforms, PySpark, Python (Pandas, NumPy) Git experience Database optimization, tuning, partitioning, index/statistics management Data modeling & integration patterns know-how Ownership, quality focus, motivation to learn Passion for data engineering & new tech English (B2/C1), strong analytical & communication skills Cloud-based data platforms experience Availability in Gdańsk office 2x/week Nice to have: Large-scale data migration projects Teradata, Unix/Linux Agile/Scrum familiarity Data Governance/Quality frameworks Functional documentation Polish language What we offer?
