You provide commercial oversight of market data spend, including budgeting, forecasting, vendor cost analysis, renewal planning, savings opportunities and contract rationalisation.

This includes reducing cost leakage, duplication and uncontrolled usage, while improving commercial terms and vendor governance You provide leadership and direction to central and decentral market data administration, inventory, entitlement, reporting, and data consuming teams, including where these teams have dotted-line reporting Your profile You have at least 5 years of market data management experience within a bank, asset manager, hedge fund, trading firm, exchange, data vendor or financial services institution

You are experienced in operating across multiple business lines, legal entities, and jurisdictions and effectively collaborating across organizational boundaries, displaying a service-oriented mindset.

You have a good understanding of market data governance, controls, usage monitoring, entitlement management, inventory management and reporting, and can effectively communicate to senior management, with the ability to simplify complex licensing, legal, commercial, technical and operational issues You are a strong and committed team player, with excellent organizational skills, ability to manage and adapt to change, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail in high volume and high impact situations, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Financial market data licensing certification is a plus (e.g., FISD Data Licensing Specialist, Financial Information Associate, or equivalent)
